Without this extraordinary group of women from the highlands, our brand would not have flourished as it has. They are the female herders of Tibet. Since our inception, we have provided employment opportunities for women living on the plateau. Much of the Himalayan region consists of pastoral lands, where women spend their lives in tents on the grasslands, maintaining a nomadic lifestyle. With limited industries in the area, most people have no source of income beyond herding.
Our brand collaborates with these women by supplying raw materials and offering training, enabling them to craft handmade jewelry from the comfort of their homes. We regularly collect the finished pieces. Each product embodies our humanistic care for the women of the plateau, who have discovered their passion within this team.
Our Thangka artworks are created by respected Tibetan painters who typically begin learning Thangka painting in their teens. It takes over a decade of dedicated study to become an independent artist. They pour their lives into their art, for in Tibetan belief, every brushstroke is a prayer. The profound work they do is a gift to every person in the world, and it is this spiritual strength that inspires them to continue their work.
